| Best way to paint/dye headliner? What is the best product for painting or just dyeing the headliner? I am trying to go for a black if that's possible. Also is it ok to do this with the headliner in the vehicle? I would of course tape everything off and everything is removed right now here anyhow. |

| don't think you can do this...and have it turn out ok. Fabric is too thin.. I guess you could take the whole thing down...and have it dyed. Better left alone in my view.

| You can do this and it can turn out great. I did it. I used a vinyl paint in a spray can. I'll look up the brand tomorrow(I think I picked it up at Pepboys). I went will a dark charcoal color and I love how it looks. Also, I did it while it was still in the truck, I just masked off the edges and threw some tarps over everything else. Remind me tomorrow to take some pictures. Cheers

Aaron | Any pictures of the headliner? I was considering putting a darker headliner in mine and wanted to see pictures before I went through the headache.

| SEM would be my #1 choice for dying anything automotive. Their line of vinyl dyes works very well.
