What is this A/C related board?
I just went to a shop to get my system charged, and the compressor wouldn't kick on. The mechanic traced down the wire off the compressor to inside the cab and it connected to this board. He said it was bad. He gave the compressor direct power and it blows cold air.
I have a feeling its gonna be expensive.

Its an Air Conditioner Amplifier.
I should have searched first.
Well I guess I really couldn't have if I didn't know what it was called.
Hope this helps someone in the future.

FJ60 Part # 88650-60020 8/08-4/85 -- $325
88650-90A03 5/85-8/87 -- $100
Don't know if they're interchangable.... Call to C. Dan will let you know. I think cruiserparts or SOR has them used for less.
Also, I can't remember where (search) but someone on here said they can fix them. And I believe you need this, or your compressor will run continually and burn its widdle self up.

Yeah SOR has used ones for $75. I couldn't find anything on cruiserparts that had different years with the same name related to A/C Amplifier.
I think the later Amplifiers are gonna be different especially if Toyota had different Part #'s for them. I tried giving C. Dan a call around 12:30 my time in Texas and no answer. Prolly has the day off. I luckily have a nice Dad who charged my system for me, but I doubt he'll spring for the new $300+ circuit board. Prolly gonna go the used route and hope it works. Unless someone knows who repairs these little buggers.

Post a couple better pix of your board, and I'll post some of the later type (when I'm back from lunch) and maybe we can spot the difference, if any.
Also, I've got a NOS from a Corlloa of early 80's vintage. Same connector. Wonder if that'll work ...

I have an old one form my HJ60 and the new one from the FJ62. They are different and the early one has no ground tab.
