LS1 Wiring Question

I am getting a LS1 from a 2000 Camaro. Complete with all wiring trans accesories etc. I have the transfer adapter and mm mounts. My question is what is involved with the wiring? I know i need to supply power to the the harness, ecm, etc but what about gages and such. Any recommendations from folks that have accomplished this.

Thanks.

I was part of a install of a '99 LS1/4L60E/D300 install into a YJ. We ditched the stock harness and used a Ron Francis (now Detail Zone) harness kit. The kit was not inexpensive, but the assembly was straight forward and the engine ran the first time that I turned the key. With NO trouble codes!
