jezebel Forum Regular Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 34	Noisy Smog Pump Pulley!! My 88 FJ62's smog pulley is wobbly and loud, I cant find a replacement for the pulley, only the whole pump. I dont want to spend $450 on a new smog pump just because the pulley is loud. Is there a way to bypass the pump and buy a shorter belt? Is that a really bad idea?? The pulley is held onto the pump drive flange using three bolts. Have you tried tightening those bolts up?
