pics for LT1-62 & pics of finished Q'rs
here ya go brotha, I chopped the frame and recessed & raised the bumper up a bit. there is a side shot to show you how recessed it is. Sorry for the bad pics black doesnt get picked up to well. I think I run to run removable shackels right thru my frame instead of the bumper for a cleaner look, that and I am making a swing out tire carrier.

Thanks Lowtide! Very much appreciated. I like how you've recessed it and actually cut and modified the frame a bit, Im gonna do something similar cause its the only way Im gonna be able to hide the gap left from bodylifting it without going to some sort of wacky ultra tall bumper. FirstToy yes I am putting a camaro LT1 in the cruiser, its not in yet but its getting close. The 3F is gone and Im just prepping the engine bay for painting at the moment before the chev donk gets its new home. Then all going well I have asked santa for a new set of custom ceramic coated headers and 3inch mandrel exhaust system for chrissie.

wow, I just changed computers from a sundrenched one to one with a LCD screen and now I can actually see Lowtides pics properly. Now I know what you're talking about with the new 'Q'rs', I was a bit confused for awhile there. Looks really good man a bit o grinding filling sanding and painting and she'll be looking stock as. What was the main reason for altering the rear quarter panels? Clearance, rust, future install of rear bar protection?
hmmm corvette rail covers, Ive thought about that but decided against them unless some fall into my lap, Im on a bit of a budget trying to get this finished even though that would look mean...

I've got plans to run GSMTR in may and want to have everything up and out of the way for those huge rocks they got cooking.
I cut them a while back and just had some flimsy sheet metal tacked in. The metal that is welded in now is 1/8inch plate, I jacked the rear up on them with high lift and was wacking it with EL SLEDGO ( my 5lbs sledge) and it dint leave a ding. Hopefully they hold up and I think they will but if they dont I'll just re-build. they look like crap right now because of all the burnt paint from welding but they will be fine tuned soon.

Nice job on the Qrs Al, functional and really sweet looking. If mine weren't so clean I would be doing the same! I guess after I mash them I will PM you for details.
