Custom bumper pics

Hi Guys
due to my 2" body lift and ridiculously big factory front bumper/pto winch unit, I have decided to ditch both bumpers and fab some new ones. This way I can shorten the hell out of the front one, and move both 2" inches up. I just wanna go for something pretty simple, probably something similar to those posted by the mangler not so long ago, rectangular tube steel with some kinda wrap around ends and a trailer hitch in the back. If anyone has pics of custom bumpers they have made, even if they dont fit the general description I just gave, post em up, cause Id love to see em and Im still feeling pretty open minded about what I want. Thanks in advance.

hey boston, you didn't make up any drawings you might like to share did you? I like the rear bumper and might like to build one myself. Thanks

Hey lowtide

Got any more detailed pics lowtide? Mounting pics, left, right, bottom and top views would be much very appreciated since your bumper is essentially the exact sort of thing Im after, minimalistic yet sturdy. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks lowtide, I look forward to checking them out. I seem to remember you saying that you were a postgrad university student, what are you studying? I am also a postgrad and notice you are as regular as they come on this board, it makes me laugh cause IH8mud has become my favourite procrastination tool lately as well.

Nothing fancy, but here's mine. I need to add some shackles for pulling Hummers out and put a receiver through the center of the rear bumper.

Hey guys
Thanks again to everyone whos posted pics, especially lowtide who took some specially. If any one else has any more pics keep em comin though because I still have to sort out the front bumper as well, I sold my big proboscis of a front bumper PTO unit yesterday so even have a modest budget to work with now. Thanks in advance guys.
