Check out my signature!! I've got an H55 mated to my 3B. The 'Cruisers with manual trannys sold in Canada from the '83 model year on all had the H55 trannys. Older ones had the H42 tranny and Landpimp is right again, the 3B uses a different input shaft on the tranny than the F or H series engines do. The swap for the input shafts is easy on the 4 speed, I did it in the garage on the 4 speed for the FJ55/3B but I don't know if the H55 uses the same input shaft. I don't see why it wouldn't but I don't know for sure.
