experience with cruiserparts?
i was looking at their site for 60s stuff and it's a lot more reasonable than their 80s prices --
-- anyone had any experience with them? from when i called them, it wasn't great - -every hard to talk to anyone but the gate-keeper, who knew nothing --
thanks --

Nothing but good experiences here. I've ordered from him (James?) several times with great satisfaction. I received an incorrect part once but he took care of it super fast and had the right part to me in a day or two. My .02

Same here. James is a stand up guy. I've ordered several items from them. One of my orders was for a used oil pan for my 60. It came with a small dent in the side but James assured me that it would seal up and that if it didn't he would send me another. Anyway, I ended up not even trying it out and just buying a brand new oil pan from the dealer. A few months later (actually about 8 months later) a guy on the LCML was looking for a 2F oil pan and I posted up that I had one and where I got it. That day I received an email from James stating he saw the post on the LCML about me buying from them and not using it and he asked if there had been a problem with the oil pan and stated he would send me another one if needed or if I just plain old didn't need it, he would actually take it back and refund me my full amount originally paid. This was MONTHS after I had originally purchased it! I ended up selling it to a lister and informed James and thanked him for his extra effort.
I'd deal with James and Cruiserparts.net any time.

Just fine place ... plus no problem with returns even when the customer orders the wrong part.

Ordered a few times, the only problem was a used body part that had too much rust. He took it back and ate the shipping both ways. No complaints.
I think it's just James and a helper pulling parts, it's not SOR, so you have to put up with some delays, but the prices were good.

They are great to deal with, and if you need technical advice, just ask for James. They really do go out of their way to do things right.

I ordered an air intake hose and a fuse panel from them, and it was all in all a good transaction. The fittings for the intake were rusty, but worked fine.

Bought from James a ccouple times. Bought a power antenna that required a new mast... I just replaced it on my own hook.

Just like all the other posts - I'll purchase again from them. Good, mostly prompt customer service. They are a small operation, so if everbody calls or emails at once it takes a little while longer to get an answer. I got the wrong part once, and they fixed the problem right away.

Have bought from them a few times (parts to convert 62 to man. trans., H55F 5sp, and a few other parts) service and shipping are THE best. Also best price anywhere on a new H55F. I know I will deal with them again.

James is a really nice guy. I'd deal with him again anytime.
It's good to see a place get all kinds of good me-toos.
