Has anyone received any news from Dave at MC regarding parts availability for a H42 19 spline with split t-case in a 4.70: ratio?
I'm ready to purchase yesterday?

Last I heard, nothing had changed. I suspect that once Marlin takes the plunge it would take 3-4 months just to get production up and running. I'm bummed, my HZJ79 project is moving forward and I suspect the crawler won't be ready. I'm trying to wait; but might have to start looking toward 203 or Mark's Gears. Neither are impressive.

Heard initial they were waiting on some parts (output shaft / gears?). Seem like they could source the part from some other company?

If that is the case, their must be more to the story. They have a line of people ready to order on this thread and the thread in the 40 forum.

I'll keep my eyes open then. Anyone think it's worth while to make a phone call or is this news fairly fresh?

join the club. I went so far as to pick up an 80 series axle which isn't offset so much so as to open up the possibility of centered output transfercases. (atlas?)
If Marllin was selling, I'd buy two RIGHT NOW. As Andy said at dinner one night, Marlin's arguably leaving money on the table., and if it was upfront cash required, he'd likely find enough cruiser guys wanting the part to make happen what needs to happen. It's not like cruiser guys would be all that worried about giving Marlin of all people some money up front to get something taken care of...

19 Spline shafts instock!!!!!!!!!
The 19 spline shafts are now in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Guys, sorry for not keeping everyone up to date. I've been too busy to post up the updates on the 19 spline shafts. Plus I really wanted to make sure they were actually here and held one in my hands. We received our air freight order of 25 shafts this morning. They are here!!! We are ready to take orders and build the ToyBox!
We can currently offer the ToyBox for the following transmissions and the 19 split case.
SM420
SM465
H41/42
H55F
TH350
TH400
TH700R4
4L60/E (4 bolt or 6 bolt tail housing)
NV4500
Just a note. We have never advertised this but these 19 spline output shafts, input gears and 4.70 gears ratio are made of 4320 Cromoly.
Thanks for being patience with us. We are offering a $100 off your ToyBox purchase to all the people who posted on this thread before this post (you are all known as the "Patience Ones"). When you call in tell us who you are. Offer expires 10/31/2009. If you did not post up before or if you post up after this reply you have until 8/31/09 to get in on the discount.
PHONE LINES ARE OPEN!!

Can you, once again, let us know how much they are? $1700?

Depends on the application. Dave worked hard to keep the initial pricing and we've been able to. Like he stated, there is a bit of a "back in stock" sale going on for a bit.
What application are you looking at?

For Moonshine, it would be a H55. I don't know if I can afford it since the SOA still needs some things, but I'm looking at all options.

For the H55F with 4.7 gears (again, the only gearing option) you are looking at $1799. If the Box is ordered before the Dates CruzrDave mentioned, we'll drop another $100 off.

Yeah Dave fought hard to keep the numbers where they were initially and then decided to cut a deal for the first bunch of Toy Boxes sold.

Marlin's was kind enough to call; Got my H55F->Splitcase ordered up for my HZJ79 project. Can't wait to go slow. Had _almost_ ordered my NP203 crawler. This is more $$$, but I like having all toyota...and it's more then 50% slower, lower... go slow and say hello.

Mine is in-hand, mated to an H41 and split case.
Many thanks to Mudrak and the fine folks at Marlin Crawler.
