Inquiring minds wanna know. And how would you tell ?
There's a 1977 FJ40 Anniversary Edition & 1997 FJ60 Anniversary Edition ...
Just curious,
Cahil

AFAIK, there's no such thing as a 1977 anniversary edition, where did you hear this? I'm very curious, this is the first time I hear it mentioned. What makes it an anniversary edition?
I don't think there was an anniversary edition of the 60 series either. Toyota did minimal marketing of the 60 series in the US. In fact, there's documented proof that they considered pulling the plug on the 60 series in 1985.

Nope, no such animals.
Now if you had some graphics software and some 3M film you could make one......

Interesting ...
I keep seeing 1977 FJ40 & 1997 FJ80 Anniversary Editions in peoples signatures. Always wondered what that was.
My truck is different too. The rear seat is all vinyl(fine by me) and the graphics I have on the side is a ~ 3 inch wide truck long grey strip with "TOYOTA" in black on each fender and dropping down from the grey is ~ 4 to 5 truck long black pinstipes.
There also use to be an importers tag for federal complicance in the door jam. Maybe not original dometic dealer sale ?
Difference is the spice of life ...
Cheers,
Cahil

Not when it comes to owning firearms. 100-year-old pump shotguns, among most other firearms, are illegal.
