Part of the plan when I made the skidplate for my tranny was one for the transfer case. This one follows the same design idea, a crossmember made from 1 1/2 in x 3/16 wall sq tube and 3/16 plate. The angle iron mounts are 2 x 2 x 1/4 by 7 inches long.

Mounting is pretty simple, I just tapped existing holes in the bottom of the frame for 7/16-20 bolts (I had the bolts on hand and they will come out with a 16mm socket)

Now I don't fear for my transfer case or tranny in the rocks

All thats left is a small plate to protect the transfer case vacuum shift mechanism maybe next weekend...
