Auto no go
Have a 350 Chev/Turbo 400 combo in my 60 and has been sitting for 12 months. Although run regularly it now won't move when drive or reverse are selected. Oil level is fine. Any ideas?

The converter has fully drained while sitting. Let it idle in gear for a while (like longer than a minute) to fill the converter.
If it wont move even then, check your linkage. If that's good, drop the pan and change/check the filter, and even perhaps blow some valve body cleaner through whatever you can access on the VB. If that's a no-go, then it's time to grab a gauge kit and do some pressure checks. __________________ ="Are you gonna sit there on that friggin computer all day or what?"The desert dwellin, roadrunner chasin, soooper-genius!
