OOOOOOOO is the only one who has seen it. When I talked to the guy on the phone he said that it was put in by the stunt team movie guys. I'm assuming it would be done well since people's lives are involved.

The cage is done up nicely and welded in. Doesn't obstruct door access and is tucked nicely into the roof lines and has a cross bar behind the front seats about mid way up the seats. There's also a cross bar in the rear cargo area. The pics I have don't show much of it but it probably wouldn't be worth trying to take it out. It's perfect for someone that want's a nice rust free frame and body to work with. If you want pics just pm me your e-mail address. Thanks

Tommy

Hey man. I'm in England. Maybe we could meet up for a pint or 3. I'll be in London next week then back up north to Leeds after Wed.

Update

None yet. I can call the guy again and see if he's gonna move on the price. He was at 2500.00 a couple of weeks ago. If someone else wants to try to get him to come down feel free. His # is 818-497-5743. I'm def still in but would like to at least sell some of the big stuff so I'm not stuck with it because I have no room for it. It's a great parts truck, super clean frame but 2k is probably the best price. Maybe we can refresh the list and see what we come up with. Thanks

I would like to see a final list of who wants what and a price, not including shipping. Then we can sort out the logistics of getting everyone their parts. I don't mind pulling parts off and such but would like a few extra bucks thrown in for my efforts (it's hot as hell) and I have to tow it to Phoenix. Once the big stuff is gone I'll post it in the classifieds for the tid bits. Thanks for everyones interest and help so far. If someone can host the pics I'll e-mail them to you for all to see. Funny that I'm in Data center design and can't remember how to post a damn pic.

The guy wouldn't drop his price so I think this whole deal fell through.

If someone wants to take the initiative and make the initial purchase I am still willing to chip in for the rear bumper.

Still in.

I'm still in too just been very busy with work and traveling. UK, Philippines and Vegas just in the past 2 months. Sorry for dropping the ball somewhat. If we can refresh the list maybe we can work it out. My junk is in desperate need of springs and a manual conversion so I'm in.

Ok Tommy. Looks like we need a main person to front the cash. I will help person pick up vehicle and I have a place to store it for a few weeks if necessary.

Ok, I'll call the guy tomorrow and see where he is on his price and we'll go from there. I'll post up as soon as I talk to him. Pick up and storage would be a big help. I'm just so busy at work I can't find time to do much right now.

The only problem I have with making the initial purchase is paperwork. I wouldn't want to be responsible for the title.

No problem there. It's a salvage title anyway so bill of sale it then scrap the rest after it's stripped. Scrap metal is at an all time high right now.

I'm new to buying vehicles, my FJ62 was my first car purchase. Can you explain the "bill of sale " method? If there is a way to buy it as an inoperable vehicle and not pay insurance etc then I'd like to know. Still wouldn't want to be the initial buyer.

Still at 2500.00

So I called the guy and he's still at 2500.00 for the truck. We were waiting it out to see if the price would come down but no luck so I'm out at this point. There was not enough interest to recoup the funds. I'm moving on to greener pastures to find a parts truck. Thanks

If I had the money on hand (& no one was going to buy it any more) I would buy it in a heart beat and part out my existing 60! Man this sucks.... I paid 2500 for my 60 complety stock. old but straight body and some realy light/minimal rust on the rear part of the frame... I would luv to keep it as is, paint and all! I would have just transfered my interior and called it a day.....
