wheel carrier locking/security

G'day Everyone,

I am not sure if it has been discussed before but i am wandering about ways of locking my wheel carrier. The other day i went to the mall and on my return i found my carrier fully open

. It can cause alot of damage and injury to passersby or damage vechicles parked near. It is a Kaymar brand. Thanks for all inputs.

did you look at the type of locks that go on those removeable bike racks? or weld on two tabs with holes and throw in a master lock. sounds like some cheap ingenuity would be the best answer...
