I saw you did the soa without a c/t. So if it isn't entirely neccesary why do so many poeple do it? I'm getting ready to do mine and was just wondering the pro's and cons of it. When you did the rear did you have to rotate the pinion up to? It looks great by the way thats a ton of lift.

well i am planing on doing the c/t but i see so many people that dont and have good results so am going to try it but it should be done so your drive shaft is line up and not in so much of angle because they say that u have to c/t towards to the transfer case front output, to get a better u-joint angle. Otherwise it can bind and cause something to break and for the rear we did about 6 degrees up.

Depends
Depends on your gear ratio and reduction dynamics. 35's if you have 4.11's 37's if you have 4.56's. And you DO need the C&T.

now
You got it, now go into your account "my images" and hit the little "I" to the right of the image, this will bring up info then right click to highlight the "address" of the link, then copy/paste that addy. It should post a full size pic instead of a thumbnail link.
BTW, the truck looks great, white is a nice color for 60's __________________ 83 FJ60-5" ALCANS-HYSTEER-80 TRE's-RICEBUILT RODS-AUSSIELOCKER-ARB DeerSlayer-LONGFIELDS-35" MTR's-BILSTEIN 5150's-Warn M8000-Ultimate Air-Defender Rack-Rising Sun Roof Clamps-Yukons-Thanks Ige-Groucho-EricS-Corbett-Schmoozer-DurangoDDS-Zen80-Marlin-Bobby-Proffitts |

Tires
Tires alone are worth it if they are in good shape and haven't been plugged a bunch. But it would be nice to put them on and got stuff the tires in a ditch to see how they will stuff.
2" spacers are pretty huge, whats the backspace on the rims, you may need smaller spacers if those white wagons are 15x8, just use those __________________ 83 FJ60-5" ALCANS-HYSTEER-80 TRE's-RICEBUILT RODS-AUSSIELOCKER-ARB DeerSlayer-LONGFIELDS-35" MTR's-BILSTEIN 5150's-Warn M8000-Ultimate Air-Defender Rack-Rising Sun Roof Clamps-Yukons-Thanks Ige-Groucho-EricS-Corbett-Schmoozer-DurangoDDS-Zen80-Marlin-Bobby-Proffitts |

try to..
try to find 3.5 Backspace---3.75 wasn't enough with that rim, the way the "D" hole was punched out causes a lip that contacts the caliper, I'm running .25" spacers to clear

Backspacing wont make any diferance as to if it hits the caliper or not... The wheel will still hit the hub in the same place... What makes the diferance is how the wheel face is, like if the punches leave big indentions or not. or the angle in which the face of the wheel leaves to hub to mount to the rim...

I ran SOA with stock springs and cleared 37's with no problem. Well, at least until the springs started to sag. I now run OME springs with my spring over, but have dropped down to 35's. I'd say OME+SOA+38's = No problems.

I agree here. The cut and turn isn't just for driveshaft angle, it is also an opportunity to set your caster. When you go this high up you don't want twitchy handling on the highway.
