contour fan wiring, quick question

I picked up a used e-fan from a '99 v6 contour and have a question about wiring it to a delta controller. Do i need anything other than the power in and ground wires? There are a couple other wires and a coil thing mounted to the bottom of the shroud. I'd like to remove all the unnecessary wires, but don't have the controller yet...thanks!

Just hot and ground to the motor. Do not use the resistors that is why Ford got a bad wrap on burnt out fans.
