couple ideas for ya'

here's some ideas:

1. check the parting out section for TWO fj62's, try to get the front diff from each.
2. Cruiserparts.net: but you will need to spend some time cleaning them up. I got mine from them, they were a little dirty, but totally fine.

HTH.

I run 4.11's with 37's AND an auto tranny. To be honest it has been so long with this setup that I can't tell how bad it sucks. I'll let you know in a week or two as I'm finally putting in the 4.88's.

Why do you only want the front diff's from an FJ62?

Probably because the front ring and pinion will have a lot less wear than the rear. I'd guess that my front gear set has less than 5K miles of wear on it compared to the 70K+ on the rear set.

That's the only reason I can think of.

4.11s

I am only going to run 33'' tires so 4.11s should work well.

Front difs have hardly any wear. It is not necessary that both be fronts as I will just switch them front to back and back to front.

I will give Marlin a call. Thanks Bill
