Power windows from 60 to 62

I didn't find anything on this.
Will FJ62 window power parts fit into FJ60 doors?
Will FJ 62 doors fit an FJ60?

What is the best way to get power windows in a 60?

I was born the same year that the 1933 Ford came out and need any energy saving luxury possible.

Hey, my dad came off gramps assembly line in 31.

If you truely want to save energy, buy 62 truck and call the job done.

I think the easiest would be to swap over the entire door and run power to it

I think someone in the past had said the mounts are different inside the door, between manual and power mechanisms

kbill45,
I talked to you on the phone today. I will be diassembling my FJ62 regulator from the door to fix bad weather stripping. I am also going to the junk yard today to get FJ60 doors. I will compare and take pictures and help you with your project. I'd hate to have nice repainted doors only to find out people are suggesting to go with whole new doors.

Lets see if we can get it to work for you.

i swaped power windows from a 88 62 into my 87 60 the mounts on the regulators are different but the holes for both types (man. and power) are in the door. very simple swap as far as mounting goes. i should note that i have not done the rear doors yet.

kbill45,
Let me know if you need pictures. I have a full set of FJ60 and FJ62 doors that I can reference if you have anymore questions. The FJ60 doors are getting cut up within a month or two.
