35 spline D70 with one side cut down to match the offset and width of the frontend?

Since Jason's off kickin back, sippin a mai-tai, reading Vogue or some other girlie mag, I'll have to fill in.

Nope, keep guessing.

BTW, this rig is staying 6 lug so I'm not running a 3/4 or 1 ton axle.

As long as it works out, it should be a solid axle that will take some decent abuse.

Could you get an old Eaton axle in a 6 lug? That would be about the same width as your front. I can't remember if they came offset to the driver or passenger side, but can't you flip the diff in the housing with a little work?

The first rendition might be 30 spline but only if the funding isn't there for the 35 spline stuff. This axle is being built to end up with 35 spline 1.5" shafts.

The hoop is tacked in and the lower is still loose. THe bottom will move forward a bit.

And the Toy Box.
Not sure why but I decided to paint the undercarriage as opposed to the normal clean aluminum look.

The split-case shaft installed

Got a little more work done on the Cruiser. Last night I worked on the Toy Box. I'm having a few issues figuring which bolts go where. I need to do a bit more research. I threw the rear plate on to see if it would help........................didn't really.

Got the driver shock done. The second should go a lot quicker now.

And last I did a bit of work on my rear axle. Pretty much taking measurements, cutting, taking measurements, doing "the Thinker" pose for a bit, measuring some more, you get the point. It's still looking very promising and hopefully I can really get after it in the next couple of weeks.
