Replacement 30 LED reverse light bulbs

I wanted to do this awhile back but couldn't find any good ones that were bright enough. I read at 4crawlers website how he used these so decided to give them a try. They replace the 1156 bulbs with 30 LED's built into a 1156 bulb socket.

30 LED 1156/57 SPECIFICATIONS

The 1st pic is the LED bulb installed.
The 2nd pic is with the LED bulb installed on left side and regular bulb on other side.
The 3rd pic is a closeup of the LED bulb with the lens installed.

They are brighter and also don't spread out like the incandescent bulbs as you can see in the pictures. They are $15 each plus shipping.

Overall I think for $15 a bulb and 5 mins. to change them out it is worth it. They have a single 3W & 5W LED that are brighter but cost more. The 5W has a wide angle and almost twice the amount as light the 30 LED ones but are $30 each.

Super Bright LEDs

Also here is another website with some other choices.

Yep, Took like 5 mins. to install them both. They draw less current and last longer.

I retrofitted this 36 LED PCB into my brake/take socket. I have the pics on my camera but haven't pulled them off yet and I haven't been able to see what the brake looks like because I have the brake lines pinched off for the SOA. I'll post pick when it's done.
