stock springs as add-a-leaf

Is there any problems with using stock spring pack as an add-a-leaf? I have an OME medium ride with 33x12.50s and Im getting some rub up front. Already have extended shackles so AAL is my only reasonable option.

I don't see a problem. I had an old MAF suspension that sagged bad in the rear and used one of the long leaves from stock front springs to give it some lift.
