We figured since we were at it we would get the hubs all cleaned up too.

I had some caution red paint in my work truck we used on the dial. Looks pretty good.

Went with a Mini truck pitman. Already reamed for the FJ-80 TRE and it's about 1" flatter than the 60 arm.

Front housing back in.

4.88 third with ARB built by Rocky and Marlin.

Finished dhot of the refurbed hubs.

Knuckles rebuilt with new bearings and all.

Marlin's arms.

And the Martack. This brought our night to an end. It's been a few years since Idid this on my old mini truck and we didn't get it back far enough. It needs to be about 1/2" further in. DO NOT USE THIS PIC AS A REFERENCE FOR A MARTACK.

Anyway it's the general idea of the Martack. I'll grind the old tack out, remeasure, and re-tack. We figured @ midnight that this was a good stopping point.

the only reason I asked was because I had to trim the rear ear to get the third out.

Those are the wrong hub locks for an FJ60. Red is for Mini truck.

It was bronze in color, is that the stock color for a 60?

Red and black just look right to me

Updates from today.
Jason got the improperly placed Martacks ground out and re set. All is good now. Got the front end together, on wheels, and dropped down.

Had to turn it around so Jason cruised the hood quick like.

And one of the front end back together.

Pulled the 60 back in and threw it up on the trailer. The 60 for the back end is not ready yet so we wanted it mobile for some work he's getting done elsewhere so we threw it on the trailer for the back end. Started the rear spring over @ 9:30.

Finished @ shy of 11.

We decided on high pinion for the rear to get it up out of the dirt a bit.

Am i missing something?

Do you have the Axle on reversed?

Why do you have the Third pointing towards the rear?
