As it sits, the rig will drop about 1 1/2"-2" more.

We're happy with the ride height especially since it will come down a bit more.

Axle got pushed forward an inch or 2. Still have 1" forward or back to play with on the spring pads.

Looks like the cutter worked out.

I should have you come do my welding for me.

I'm kind of leaning towards a 3" body lift. Should get us up away from the rubber.

You know where it'll be. You're going to have more post's in Jason's build thread than he is.

when all said and done I'll probably have 3"s off up travel. It's all about bumpstops. when it's compressing the tire will go back, dropping will go forward.

If it doe's rub a little, I don't really care.

thanks for the use of the cutter it worked awesome, it took 5min a side to make the nice and clean cut.

Are you going to build a twin stick. I think I found a bushing that will slip over the in/out shaft and capture a nut in the slot. You interested?

I believe it. If what Fred says is correct your 2" forward and I'm only an inch.

You are obviously better prepared than I am. I don't expect to be done for weeks. You need kids to slow you down a little.

HAHAHAHAAA!!!!!

Those springs look a bit flat....you planning on hauling a ton of stuff? My SOA springs sagged after a month and they had looked like that in the beginning. You may want to add a leaf to stiffen them up.

I gonna wait and see how it is first, with the bumstops I will set them up so there is just an inch of uptravel before they contact. those bumpstops are supost to be the poor man's air bumps.

That was funny because I know exactly what you're talking about!

The build is looking good and having that nice kit sure does save some time. Don't give the pipe cutter back yet, you can shorten your rear driveshaft that way and you get a nice clean cut to keep things lined up.

I'm not whining. I wouldn't have it any other way. Brenden know what I'm talking about.

No the new bearings should be in today. He stoped by on his way out of town and gave me the low down on assembly and recommended a few things. We got the input gear flush with the idler gear so that's a load off. I'll post pics of reassembly in my thread when I get to it.

I don't think Tim will like me cutting the welds on a DC joint, but good idea.
