I have to say that is my favorite rig that I have seen on mud. Makes me want to trade my BJ74 for 61!

Here are a couple videos of the truck in the snow, courtesy ridgerunner. I think the tires work great in the snow, but absolutely suck on ice. ![]()

OK Brad, that is one sick rig dude.
Love it, Love it, Love it. I'm going to steel some of your ideas in the future (ain't that what this is all about), besides they say the it's the best form of flattery Very nice rig and trailer, you must be thrilled with it. __________________ 83 BJ60, 347K km's, Mitsu TD04 Turbo, Custom 2.5" SS Exhaust, OME 2.5 lift, 4x7 Home built roof rack, 80 series rims 265 BFG AT ko's, frame swap coming soon... 04' VW Golf TDI, 172K km's |

Thanks again everyone. I can't wait to see all the rigs so that I can improve on my own. There are so many good ideas out there that a guy never knows about.
As for the seats, the rears are a split bench. I really like them for the fact that I can fold one down and install half of the bed and still have room for three with a ton of storage. here's a better pic of the top of the bed. The leg folds down and it is two pieces for easy removal. If you leave the seat in, you just fold the leg back and the top sits on the seat back but you lose the storage underneath.

Great rig Brad. I've stalked yours over to your club website to watch the build up for quite some time. Sigh, my HJ61 is still at your "before" stage... Oh well at least I have a 12HT and cable lockers.

Wow. Totally gives me inspiration to tackle my project truck. Seems insignificant compared to the 'duke!
Still my favorite stuck pic, with the ice debacle. I laugh every time. Cheers, keep 'er rollin! __________________ _____________________________________________ Yeah, I look like a grandpa driving it, but I still pull chicks. 84 FJ60 - 2F, 301k miles, 4.5" Alcans, 12" Bilstein 5150s, 35x12.5 XTerrains, Blazenoffroad.com winch bumper, magnaflow, rust, and an oil leak! |

I love your rig! Actually its part of my screensaver, but a picture not from this thread, found it in a Googlesearch long time ago, Amazing how you have done everything, and how everything goes so well together, performancewise (judging from the videos and the pics) and lookswise.
Marmaduke has been a great inspiration, and still is! Btw the pic from my screensaver :

Just an update:
intercooler is in. Ful write up can be found here: 12H-T intercooler instal ![]() I have installed a heat exchanger from SEC and 12V sur flo pump for a on board shower. I will have to get a better shot of the pump and exchanger. I plumbed the inlet and out let to my front bumper. I hope they don't get knocked off hanging out like they do. ![]() ![]() Onto the tire rack and fuel storage. The problem with running big tires is that you need a big spare. I was running a set of Michelin XMLs prior to the Toyos and the best of the lot got spare tire duty, that's a 325/85R16. I stole the design from other bumpers I found on the net. ![]() ![]() The fuel rack turned out well. Room for two scepter cans. Ii just need to incorporate a license plate holder and maybe a shovel/axe holder. ![]() ![]() ![]() I was inspired by KMR from www.wagongear.com on his under wagon fuel storage using the AT fuel can holder and decided to build my own. Because of the body lift and no spare under the truck I have lots of room. i would love a long range fuel tank but trying to find one is a PITA and they are $$$$. I still need to do the mounting, I think it will be hinged at one end and bolted up on the bottom side of the rear bumper. So far: ![]()
