Random Question re: recently removed cylinder head

As you may know, I'm trying to sell my 1983 FJ60 LC, but I received the below question from another Cruiser owner. Just trying to help him out...hopefully you guys can pass along your collective mass of knowledge and maybe he'll become a new member of the community.

"I also have an 83 in about the same shape.
Recently removed cylinder head and I am wondering
location of two pieces. On the driver side rear of the
cylinder head, just beyond the air filter housing,
there are two coolant fittings, a temperature sensor
with a wire and a 't' fitting with two hoses. Which is
toward the front of the vehicle on yours? I know this is a pain in the ass and you just want to sell your vehicle, but it would mean something to me to know which one should be in which hole. No manual specifically calls this out.
Thanks
Jay (pacifica)"

Also, if you have any constructive advice for me to successfully sell my cruiser, I'd greatly appreciate it. Here's the link

I think the temp sensor is further forward, at least on the 3b and 2H it is that way. probably it simply does not matter.

regarding selling: your price seems good for a relatively low mileage engine. maybe fix the front brakes, that can't be hard, unless you have leaks in the master or calipers. probably a good bleed would do the trick.

otherwise i recommend ebay. you should get 1500 there easily.

cheers,
J
