Sourcing hard to find (right hand drive) parts - fabricating parts

I have unsuccessfully tried to find a salvage yard in Australia (online) or a parts seller anywhere that has two parts I seek:
  • A dash pad (brown) for my 1981 HJ60
  • the trim panel (tan) that surrounds the a/c controls and dash switches. I'd happily take a gray one and paint it. These break on everyone's truck, especially from overtightening the screws.
Both seem to be unobtanium.

Anyone have either part?

Anyone ever fabricate a replacement for either one (fiberglass, aluminum, wood, etc.)?

Someone should make a mold of these dash panels (both RHD and LHD) so that new ones can be produced from plastic. Hint: if you do, you'll be the only one making these aftermarket non-OEM parts. I'd do it, but the one I have is too far gone to make a good mold out of it.

Try G&S Cruiserparts in Vancouver, B.C. They deal with lots of Japanese RHD stuff.

Will do, thanks!
I was going to see who Outback Imports goes to for parts for their imports. I'll bet it is G&S.
