| 4 wheeling with my FJ60! We, I have always wanted a 4 wheel drive and about 1 year ago I finally got one. I have had to do a lot of work to my rig because the previous owner was a bone head and could not find a nut in a hardware store. This is just some of the work I have do myself: - Replaced the brake master.
- Bough new BFG's...31's (should have gotten something bigger)
- Replaced the solenoid valve on the carburetor.
- Installed a new battery.
- Replaced the air injector valve. (No fun!)
- Insulated the fuel line. (Very painful!)
- Rebuilt the brakes.
- Had carburetor and the A/c worked on.
- And more than I care to admit....
In all, I have not done an real 4 wheeling but I hope that changes in the next few weeks. I hope to be installing some suspension before I go, if not, I will see what stock can do. Here are a few picture of my rig. I you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks! |

| You'll ned some bigger tires for seriuos wheeling and more doodads. In the meen time head off to the fire/forest roads and get to some good camping spots, this is how I started out and had a great time fishing and site seeing. x3 on the pics. Remember take your time building it up(rig) and you'll enjoy it(wheeling).

| Welcome.Very nice 60.Mines nice.I bought mine with most of the stuff I wanted already done to it like the spring over with Fox Shox.I have the ARB front bumper and the Kaymar rear bumper with the spare tire mount. It also has tuff duk upholstery I just put 33s on it and it looks pretty cool.It sounds like you are getting to know your FJ and that's a good thing. You will be able to fix it if you have a problem out on the trail.Good luck,Dave
