There are many threads that focus on troubleshooting issues with the 2F. What are some recommendations for troubleshooting SBC issues?

A little 'd up so please excuse the grammer.

There are quite a few things going on
  • Inconsistent Idling
  • Stalling at stops
  • Jerking at low speed
Fuel Filter , EGR and PVC are all on my replace list. The major prblem is that when the 91 TBI was swapped in only the check engine light was installed to pass Cali emissions. The crappy ECM scanner I have requires the other engine light so that it can blink codes. What do I have to do/or what resouces are available to learn how to run the second light to the 60 dash?

I really appreciate any help.

if you could find out where the other light was connected to you might be able to wire a bulb in to trouble shoot,

Justin85-60, there are lots on here who have done this swap, i believe most get the adaptor from marks to the transmission, and get a 350, i believe TBI is what most go with, but many like EFI for mileage and power although it makes things more complex. There will be parts than need to be fabricated with this sort of swap, for example: exhaust, motor mounts, air intake adapted, etc. etc.

Try searching around and you should find more info, there should be some good stuff here for ya.
