New to thee Site

I'm new to the site and i need help w/ some major rust issues.
i'm pretty confident with the tremclad idea but i need to conquer the major rust problems first here's a pic the rear "fender's" are rusted through and i will get more pics soon

sounds like you get to learn how to do body work. You might want to start a new thread on that.

I wish I could help but I don't know anything about body work & rust.

OH boy...how's the frame on that?

I grew up in New England and my first cruiser had kinda bad rust on the outside, not as bad as yours, but not good at all. I had to 'retire' that cruiser due to the extensive frame rust. Check from about the rear spring hanger on back, be sure you've got a solid foundation to work from. In mine I had a hole I could stick 3 fingers through - not good.

wow! Welcome good to know I'm not the only one in the newbie pool... Good to know that pretty soon all of the 60's know to man will in some way form or fashion have gone through mud.
