Center Console Compatability

Will a center console from a 62 fit a 60? Are they the same or are they different because of the rear heater?

on your 83 and 84 the heater should be under seat.....later models it went to center......so no dont think it'll work

I'm guessing the 62 would fit but there's got to be some difference because of the heater.

I'd like to go to a 62 console with heater to get it out from under the passenger seat (room for stereo amp).

not necessarily true. my 87 has it under the PS seat...

get a tuffy and be glad. drill new holes in the tuffy to fit it to the stock mounting location.

I've also seen some of the quadratec consoles, and they look nice too.
