Stupid newby gearbox question

G'day folks,

Couple of quick newby questions:

I keep reading threads that mention a H55 gearbox. Is this a manual gearbox and if so how many gears does it have?

I have a 5-speed manual gearbox in my 1986 model 60 series. Does this gearbox have a similar model number?

Cheers,

Ben

Its better to ask the stupid questions, if you cant find what youre looking for in the search function.

If you lift the bonnet you will see this and other information on the build plate on the firewall.
