Lightbulb Shape of front half of rear wheel arch same as back half?

I was just wondering if the front half of the rear wheel arch same as back half, in terms of shape? It would be nice to be able to use a good front half to repair my rusted out wheel arch (back half)! I think my parts 60 might have good front halfs. I realize it doesn't go up very high on the front half due to the door, but if it would work, it would save having to make the lip.

Has anyone done this, or know if this would work?

Check out this thread ( Pics of trimmed 1/4 panels ) and do some searching on rear wheel well repair or rust repair. This is what I'll be doing in the very near future.

Nice, that would take care of half the rust, and probably make repairing the rest alot easier! I still have rust that goes up and around to the top of the arch.

I should clarify my question a little too... in saying that I want to use the front portion, I mean the front half of the opposite side. Does that make sense?
