sor headers

I got my bag of goodies from sor today, the guy was saying somthing about shiming the headers to get them level. Has anyone ever done this before and do you have tricks that could help with my install? I hope every thing goes good so I can take it out to the missouri breaks next weekend for hunting camp. My buddy says there is some crazy 4x4 trails down their. I have the GPS programed and other than the cruiser I am ready to go.

Yes the flange surfaces of the header and the manifold aren't level so you will need to fabricate something to make up for the difference. I think most people stack washers cut in half.
