why?
So long as both have proper penetration wouldn't their strength be equal? Wouldn't the advantages of TIG simply be heat control and visual appearance? I would think an experienced weldor (i.e. not me
) could create an equally strong MIG weld.
Not trying to argue, just interested in more details.
