| I live 20 miles or so from Chad and the turkeys are so numerous around here it's nearly unbelievable unless you've experienced it. I've hit two turkeys on my bike, and probably see over 100 a month from the roads alone. We had 22 quail under the bird feeder this morning, picking up scraps from the Chickadees and Nuthatch.
Beautiful coloring on the species you photographed. Ours seem more browns and tans with less of the showy colors.
