Obviously pre-planning a snow wheeling trip is questionable. Snow, no snow, wet snow, fresh snow, frozen snow? Big variables there. IMO it's best to hit the first real dumping so you don't have the frozen base and it's usually easier to power thru the deep powder. The snow trips I plan are only days ahead of time watching weather reports and such. This is the year we really plan on doing some snow camping too, we have been talking and now it's time to walk the walk so to say.
