So even if I fit a turbo it will hardly be used. If I have to get over 40 kph going up the long hill then it won't work anyway because I can't get to 40 kph in the first place. I need to think of the LC as a tractor that can go on the road.
It looks like I will just use a lower gear and the turbo is not worth the time and trouble of installing it for my purposes.
Thanks for the confirmation on the brake caliper. I did try to fix it myself but I am too old and stiff to do it so I have to find someone to strip and clean all four brake brake calipers.
roscoFJ73, I think you are right regarding the tuning. If I put the accelerator more than about half way down I get black smoke.
