Thats proberly because we used them till death only took about 3 years till they were just that rusty and banged up every nut and bolt from leaf springs to tailshaft bolt to seat bolts were to corroded the permanent u/g ones all get washed every day in the salty u/g water once decommissioned its to the surface for mines rescue fire traing to be cooked.
Im a huge fan of the 8 rear seats in the troopys ,The troopys with the 3rd door and forward facing seat are very practical for some but defeats the point of having a troopy i think you might as well have a 80 series or so with coil comfort
