My tire contact can get a pretty good price on them, the 37's that I had priced were about the same $$$. My Coopers are good for ~30K mi, the Nittos go 50K+ and the Coopers chunk worse than average in the rocks. My rig is my DD, so the $ math works better for the Nittos. It comes down to the tire age thing, I prefer tires to go close to 4yrs and have been burning the Coopers off in ~2.5 years.

The new Goodyear MTR's look cool, but they are very proud $$$$ of them. Will let others test them and see how it goes, maybe try them after some of the newness $$ rubs off?
