Took out the low rating Delco-Remy points distributor and coil...which idled terribly, could not keep consistant M/P; and consitantly had a run-on problem at shutoff; below average acceleration.....now no more timing, no more adjusting points, no more mixture adjustments, nothing but fun..all the difference in the world.
This is a highly recommended upgrade...I understand Mallory makes a vacuum distributor the same as this one......

EDIT: Just noticed the link to summit with the right part no. Browsing the site I found the 47 series with a vac advance, oddly they show it as good for a BJ42
