You learned to ski at 18 months old. Right.
Riding in your daddy's driftboat at age 6 is not flyfishing at age six.
You were an accomplished oarsman at age six? Maybe on a pond, but on a river? I call bullshit.
You were ripping it up on a snowboard at age 7. Which resort allowed you to do so in 1989?
All the time spent in a baby carrier in the backcountry can hardly be counted as personal wilderness experience.
A legend in your own mind.
I think you are counting your parent's experience as your own.
With this in mind, why don't you ask your father for his take on carrying firearms in the woods for self defense? Then try not to embellish it, and post it up.
While you are talking to him, be sure to double check all of the ages and activities you have listed here. His memory might be a bit different than yours.
