The stock location is hard to get to. Just cut the old one as short as you can at the Motor Mount and leave it there.
Connect the new Neg lead to the rear A/C bolt. It really doesn't matter where it goes, it's just a neg ground.
Make sure the leads from the head to the firewall, and the back of the T'case to body have good connections, too. It's a very nice set from them, plus you get the new Fusible Link - use it, keep the old as a spare.
