Turbo is to Diesel as:
1) Key is to Lock
2) The railroads are to Monopoly
3) Milk is to Cookies

Unless you're going absolutely crazy with the boost, you can very safely turbo a 3B. As long as you are still routing the exhaust out of the truck, you won't cook anything. Build a heat shield if anything is that close to the exhaust (because you would cook it).

Also, the turbo whine is like music. Seriously.
