I was part of a install of a '99 LS1/4L60E/D300 install into a YJ. We ditched the stock harness and used a Ron Francis (now
Detail Zone) harness kit. The kit was not inexpensive, but the assembly was straight forward and the engine ran the first time that I turned the key. With NO trouble codes!
