While the FJ Sizzle is shorter and thus needs less steel, I'm sitting at around $175 for mine after buying the steel and bolts/nuts. (Over $60 for the nuts and bolts alone, though I did buy the metrics when I could have cheated and gotten the SAE size.) I'll also have a bunch of steel left over, no doubt.
I
did go way overkill on mine (lots of 3/16ths wall steel), but you can't go
that much smaller and keep the strength without more engineering (and more cutting/welding).
I'd figure on $200 for it, just to be on the safe side. That's still far cheaper than other places though. (No idea on the FJC, but I know for the 80 you're looking at $800 to a grand real easy.)
