fuel pump replacement
I got my fuel pump off and cleaned the area up. Got my new kyosan pump from JT off road and went to put it on. The directions told me to make sure that I put the spacer back in between the block and the pump or else it could destroy my pump and or my crank. The problem is that my old pump did not have a spacer when I took it off. Only a little gasket material and an old gasket. Do I need to make sure that I get a spacer before I try to crank it up. I already replaced the pump on the engine but have not tried to start it or anything. I was waiting to hear back from some of you all before I did something stupid. Please help me out with this issue. Thanks, RG
