That crap was pretty hard to get over. Especially since we called a bunch of times and it wasn't an issue until we had just driven 5 hours to get there, then it wasn't an issue again when he was face to face with somebody. happy to report there were maybe 10 trucks at his "event". it was a complete wash out. I'll use the free t-shirt as a rag.
The park is very nice. The owner said he has never groomed the trails. That gravel is what's there naturally. Big long up-hill climbs and off camber switchbacks are not too fun when there are no other options. We found some outstanding trails. The 4 rated trails are particularly a blast. The worst part was struggling to get a linked trailer queen over stuff that a almost stock mini truck drives over like nobodies business. Fawkin' Bill.

I'd go to SMORR again. Thad made it worth it. I'm not sure how to avoid the "event" mix-up since it wasn't mentioned when talking to the staff and the website event page wasn't available.
Flat Nasty is a cool park. Ron is working hard at it and it can get nothing but better. Needs showers. I'll be sure to book the cabin at least one night for the facilities. Wish I could have run it more, but I had to try a nasty climb (and made it) right away on suspect parts. Blew all 12 hub studs and 3 of 4 driveshaft bolts.
Washita is very cool too. A good day and a half where the other two parks could do three or four days. Needs better camping and better access to the camping. Even dry it was tough with a tow rig.
All in all a great trip, especially if it was done in September or so. MO is not the place to be in late June.
The best part had to be the campfires. I think I hurt myself laughing so hard. It was a great group.
