Check the price of an auto vs. the MT... then factor mpg and run the calcs on how long you'd have to drive one to offset the additional cost... I have the MT soley because it's a blast to drive!
I wish I had NOT gotten the factory rack. I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a BajaRack - similar cost too.
And, I'm not sure the FJ gets the wiring for the inverter (if you don't get the factory inverter). I thought I read that, contrary to expectations, the sub and inverter were only wired if you got these options.
Now the ATRAC (front dif) that's all there - skip the option and just buy the button!
