| I have a vague recollection of somebody doing a conversion using honda or acura lamps on a 60. A 62 would be tough since I can't think of any vehicle with square HID reflectors.
That being said, a lot of the good quality lamps have a sharp cutoff. I would think retrofitting HID bulbs/ballasts to an IPF/Cibie/etc lamp would produce good results without blinding other drivers. Probably street legal, but as long as it doesn't effect other drivers it might be worth the effort.
Edit: Maybe it actually was an 80 rather than a 60. Whichever, they used the whole setup from another car.
