While we are on the topic of wheelbase though I have to comment. If everything else was equal you'd be right but they are not and neither are you. The mid wheelbase rigs suffer, like 60s, from too much over hang. For an additional 130mm of wheelbase the 73 is 940mm longer than the 70. (these figures from the FAQ, are they correct? Must include the porch) The simple answer is to stretch the WB of your BJ70. My latest plan is for FJ45 leafs in the rear and redrilled BJ60 rears on the front which should give me about 7 inches alone but if I french the mounts I can get 2 or three more. That should get me in the 100 inch range which is close.

You just said that i was wrong, and then said that youre getting to the 100" mark which is close?

Ok, so what was I wrong about? I said that 100 to 105 is perfect. I never mentioned approach or departure angles. We all know numbers as close to 90 degrees is desireable. Sorry for FOULING your thread with samurais.
